AMD is eagerly awaiting the arrival of its next-generation Ryzen 9000 processors. These will feature Zen5 cores, which are expected to deliver particularly high performance. The rumor of the day concerns high scores on Cinbench R23 single core!
We learn from RedGamingTech that AMD is going to offer us something violent with its future processors, very violent indeed.
Compared with the latter, which is the top of the Raptor Lake Refresh range, AMD’s future architecture currently boasts a 15% lead! What’s really surprising here, however, is the new architecture’s more than comfortable lead over Zen4. In fact, we found 2090 pts under the same conditions for the 7950X. Zen5 would therefore be ahead of the current architecture by around 34%. Once again, if all this proves to be true, since no screenshots are available, we’ll have to wait and see.
As a reminder, with these CPUs, AMD intends to offer models equipped with 16 hyperthreaded cores. As far as engraving is concerned, we’ll have two processes at work, with 4 nm for theI/O die and 3 nm for the die cores. The question now is what the frequencies of these models will be. Currently in the development stage, AMD must be looking to push frequencies as far as possible in order to boost performance!
