The Tower of Fantasy x Evangelion collaboration is finally here, and along with the new story content, themed rewards, and epic battles ahead, the team is highlighting the latest simulacrum, Asuka Shikinami Langley.
The new collaboration storyline sees a stranger, a “familiar” appear outside of Mirroria. The intruder, which turns out to be an Angel, threatens the peace, and battle begins. Soldiers use Multipurpose Humanoid Decisive Weapons to fight back against the invasion and deadly threat the Angels pose.
Asuka will be an important part of the new collaboration mission. As the pilot of EVA-2, she will assist in the war against the Angels in Vera. Asuka comes equipped with her special weapon, Spear of Longinus.
According to the update notes, it looks like the collaboration will extend through late April. there are a number of events, mini games, and special purchasable perks and items as part of the collaboration.
