Where players on both Seasonal realms and Eternal realms will be able to discover a “mysterious phenomenon” that seems to be taking over Sanctuary. It seems that the Ancestors are blessing players from beyond the grave, as specific Shrines will be dealing out some insane buffs to help players make progress.
These Lunar Shrines will be located all around Sanctuary and within events that can be completed around the map as well. Once activated, players will receive a 50% increase to their XP gains and a 30% movement speed buff alongside several other buffs that can be activated from the different Shrines.
To begin the event, players will need to travel to Ked Bardu and go to the Northern area of the town. Ying-Yue will be waiting there to greet everyone as the leader of the Lunar Night Market. This will be the spot for players to redeem the Ancestors Favor reputation that they have earned throughout the event in order to score some Lunar Renewal themed rewards.
Some of these new Shrines can be found within dungeons as well, so players should remain vigilant in order to activate as many as they can find before the event concludes on February 20. 2024.
