Rise of Hydra, a new title featuring Black Panther and Captain America, at Epic’s State of Unreal GDC showcase this week.
Originally announced back in 2021 and teased in 2022, the game is Amy Hennig’s latest and puts the focus on Black Panther and Captain America in their own adventure in occupied Paris during World War II. The game features an original narrative but is inspired by a limited comic series titled Captain America/Black Panther: Flags Of Our Fathers.
Marvel 1943 will be a single-player action-adventure game where players will take control of four characters, including the aforementioned Captain America and Black Panther, as well as Howling Commandos Gabriel Jones and Nanali, who runs the Wakandan spy network.
The game is being developed on Unreal Engine 5 and is set for release sometime in 2025.
