RTX 4060 card becomes popular in South Korea.
When it arrived, the RTX 4060 series wasn’t what you’d call a ” banger ” – far from it. Between the high price, the reduced amount of memory compared to the 3060, and the lackluster performance, it was hard to get consumers to swallow the pill.
Things are gradually changing in South Korea, where the 4060 has overtaken the 3060 series. This changeover took place over the August/September period in the country. It has to be said that the reason for this choice is linked to prices that are gradually coming down, following, in particular, various promotions and price reductions. What’s more, RTX 3060 series are also becoming increasingly rare.
In December 2023, the 4060 Ti accounted for 23.59% of market share, compared with 22.17% for the 4060. The RTX 3060 still represents 11.85% share, followed by the 4070 Ti at 11.25%. Finally, under the 10% mark, we have the GTX 1660 Super at 8.08%, the RTX 4070 at 8% and the RTX 3060 at 2.18%.
