The Tribes revival is upon us. Tribes III: Rivals is officially “coming soon” to early access as revealed via a new trailer dropped this week by developer Prophecy Games. The demo will be available to play between February 5 and February 12.
Tribes III: Rivals is a 5v5 multiplayer shooter featuring the fast-paced and action-packed combat that has been the series’ pedigree since the release of Starsiege: Tribes all the way back in 1998. The most recent release in the series was Tribes: Ascend, which was developed by Hi-Rez Studios and launched in 2012. Prophecy Games, the folks behind this latest entry in the series, was originally a subsidiary of Hi-Rez, but spun off as an independent studio in 2020. Tribes III: Rivals is coming to PC sometime in Q1 2024.
