Without getting too heavy into spoiler territory, the demo footage follows the player character Phyre as she infiltrates a warehouse in search of a fellow Kindred named Willem to learn more about the mysterious mark on her hand.
The Phyre we follow in the demo is part of the Brujah clan and her pugilistic talents were on full display as she pummeled and fed on various enemies throughout the level. There looks to be four abilities that can be equipped to the character at any one time and these abilities can only be used if the player has accrued their requisite amount of pips via feeding on enemies. Feeding can be done by stalking targets and ambushing them or in the middle of combat if an enemy is brought to low enough health without being killed. Each clan also has a clan passive that’s activated after feeding and for the Brujah, their passive appears to power up their melee damage and ability to knock back foes.
