MSI’s new series comes in two sizes: 240 mm and 360 mm. The series is based on seventh-generation Asetek AIOs. So don’t expect any leaps and bounds in performance over the previous generation of kit.
As for the screen, it switches toIPS, with all the advantages that brings: better visibility, better contrast. The size remains unchanged: 2.4″, but in landscape format this time.
The pump still benefits from an additional fan, which will cool the elements located around the socket. This will help cool the motherboard’s power supply and/or RAM stages.
Ventilation doesn’t seem to have moved an inch. It still relies on 120 mm Torx 4.0 fans. The data sheet is not very precise, and simply gives the airflow: 77.4 CFM. If we add the K series, we find speeds reaching 2500 rpm with a static pressure of 4.29 mmH2O.
