A new heatsink from Scythe, the Mugen 6, with a new design that retains the original spirit… But with an extra fan all the same. With its Mugen 6, Scythe offers us a nice upgrade in terms of heatsink design. Compared with the 5 rev.C version, it has a completely black coating. The heatpipes are now hidden from view. What’s more, it benefits from dual push/pull ventilation.
The radiator is rather thick, with dimensions of 132 (W) x 132 (D) x 154.5 (H) mm and a weight of 1.197 kg. Otherwise, the radiator features a total of six copper heat pipes joined by a nickel-plated copper base. The base is apparently mirror-finished. As for ventilation, we have two Wonder Tornado 120 PWM mills. These operate at speeds between 350 rpm and 2000 rpm. At full capacity, they will generate an airflow of 60.29 CFM, while static pressure will reach 2.45 mmH2O. It should be pointed out that this is the basic version, with no black coating and a single fan. The price of the Black Edition model is a little higher.
