MSI launched its power supply series with three relatively classic power ratings: 650W, 750W and 850W. The company has now added higher-power units: 1000W and 1200W.
In addition to increased power, these power supplies are still 80 Gold certified. Likewise, cable management remains modular. These power supplies comply with ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 standards.
The connectors shared by these two power supplies remain identical. An ATX 24-pin connector is complemented by two EPS12V CPU 4 4-pin connectors. For graphics, we have a choice of a 16-pin connector or four PCIe 6 2-pin connectors. We end with twelve SATA, four Molex and one floppy drive.
Internal ventilation is provided by a single 135 mm fan. Likewise, the PFC is active, while the blocks benefit from a full-bridge LLC topology with DC-to-DC voltage conversion. For the moment, no prices have been announced.
