Overview of the TGS-1000 Series
Vecow has recently launched its innovative TGS-1000 series of mini PCs. These ultra-compact, fanless, stackable embedded computers are designed to offer exceptional performance and flexibility. The series includes two primary models: the TGS-1000 and TGS-1500, both powered by Intel Core Ultra Meteor Lake processors, featuring integrated CPU, GPU, and NPU.
Key Specifications and Performance
Designed to support edge AI applications, the TGS-1000 series can accommodate up to 96 GB of DDR5 memory. The series offers up to a 14% boost in CPU performance alongside enhanced graphics capabilities, making it adept at handling a variety of tasks. The models can drive up to five independent displays, utilizing two HDMI and three DisplayPort (DP) ports.
Expansion and Modular Design
One of the standout features of the TGS-1000 series is its modular design, allowing for stackable expansions. This range of stackable modules includes:
- TGS-101: 16-bit GPIO (General Purpose Input/Output)
- TGS-102: 16-bit isolated DIO (8 DI, 8 DO) – Digital Input/Output
- TGS-104: 2 isolated COM RS-232/422/485 – Serial Communication Ports
- TGS-105: Dual USB 3.0
- TGS-106: Dual 1G LAN
- TGS-107: 4G Module with SIM socket
Additional Features and Applications
The TGS-1000 series is equipped with a variety of I/O connections, including up to five USB 3.0 ports, and a 2.5GbE LAN port with TSN support. The TGS-1500 model further includes support for MXM graphics cards up to RTX 5000 Ada. This flexibility makes the series suitable for applications in AI, smart retail, office communication, and gaming.
Models and Availability
Vecow offers four variants based on the CPU: TGS-1000-165H/135H and TGS-1500-165H/135H. While pricing and availability details are yet to be disclosed, it is anticipated that these systems will start at around a thousand dollars.
