Final Fantasy XIV will launch on Xbox on March 21st, as announced on today’s Xbox Partner Showcase. Potential Xbox Warriors of Light only have just a couple more weeks until they can start (or continue) their journeys in Eorzea.
The date confirmation came via a new Xbox trailer released on the Xbox showcase with a date reveal at the end. Open beta launched for the Xbox Series X|S release back on February 21st, and was specifically targeted at those who did not already have an existing account.
While the open beta did not require Game Pass, when the full launch happens on March 21st, a subscription to both Final Fantasy XIV and a Game Pass membership will both be required.
