BitCraft is a sandbox that emphasizes player choices, cooperation, and other familiar elements of survival games, like hunting, farming, and of course, crafting.
The game has been in pre-alpha for a while, as the devs worked to build it out, but also to shape the experience.
The closed alpha test should help them to continue that work as more people get the chance to step into the world. Even in the trailer, there is a section that says “rebuild civilization”, and shows a village building up. It grows larger, the buildings taller, and continues.
Of course, it’s also noticeable that the people we see, including during the look at character creation, have glowing eyes and sometimes glowing lines on their faces.
BitCraft, now subtitled Age of Automata, is still taking signups for alpha.
