Neither ASUS nor Noctua seem willing to offer an all-black version of their graphics cards. That’s why Mr Matt Lee has come up with a customized version of the series. For this, he has “simply” opted for two NF-A12x25 chromax.black fans to replace the original models.
On the face of it, for manufacturers, offering such a version shouldn’t be too complicated, since the black fans are exactly the same as the original models. There are no changes in size or features.
An NF-A12x25 PWM has a maximum rotation speed of 2000 rpm. Air flow and static pressure are 102.1 m3/h and 2.34 mmH2O respectively.
What if ASUS x Noctua made a 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘅 GPU? 👀 Here’s something I’ve been working on to give you an idea of how it could look! Two Chromax NF-A12x25 fans with matching mono accents… it’s certainly a vibe 🖤 Would you have this in your rig?@Noctua_at | @ASUSUK | #Noctua pic.twitter.com/TLDHIJWYzG

What Mr Matt Lee’s post doesn’t tell us is how complicated it is to change these fans. Are there screws everywhere, that sort of thing.
