Horizon Forbidden West will arrive on PC on March 21

The advantage of this game is that you can play it on a toaster, with all the details down, but on a toaster nonetheless. In fact, in very low, 720p, aiming for a framerate of 30 FPS, all you’ll need is a Core i3 8100 or a first-generation Ryzen 3. However, 16 GB of RAM will be required, and this amount will not change depending on the graphics quality you’re aiming for. As for graphics, a simple GTX 1650 4GB or RX 5500 XT 4GB will do the trick.

For 1080p, medium and 60 FPS details, you’ll need a processor with six cores. A Core i5 8600 or Ryzen 5 3600 will do the trick, while the graphics section becomes a little more demanding. You’ll need either an RTX 3060 or an AMD RX 5700.

At 4K 60 FPS and very high detail, you’ll still need an 8-core CPU, but a more recent one. In fact, we’re talking about a Ryzen 7 5700X or an i7 11700. As for graphics, an RTX 4080 or RX 7900 XT will be required, i.e. a CG with at least 16 GB of VRAM.

The game will require fairly recent components to run, starting at 1080p. Remember that an RTX 3060 is just the previous generation of graphics card, while at 4K, gaming requires outright big cards. Be sure to allow for a minimum of space: 150 GB, all on an SSD please!
