ZOTAC’s New GeForce RTX 4070: A Dive into Custom Designs

Introduction to ZOTAC’s GeForce RTX 4070

Earlier this week, ZOTAC unveiled its latest offerings in the graphics card market with the introduction of the GeForce RTX 4070 GDDR6 custom-design graphics cards. This new lineup consists of four distinct models, showcasing the company’s innovative twin edge board design.

Variants and Design Features

The new series features two standard black models and two stylish white variants. Within this collection, ZOTAC offers regular twin edge models that adhere to the NVIDIA reference clock speeds, while the twin edge OC variants boast minor factory overclocked speeds. Notably, the RTX 4070 replaces the conventional GDDR6X memory with an enhanced 20 Gbps GDDR6 memory, marking a significant step in performance.

Technical Specifications and Pricing

The twin edge board design employs an advanced aluminum fin-stack heatsink, dubbed ICESTORM 2.0, which is efficiently cooled by two fans. The regular variants achieve a GPU boost frequency of 2475 MHz, while their OC counterparts reach up to 2490 MHz. Both models offer GDDR6 memory operating at 20 Gbps. Adding an aesthetic touch, the twin edge white cards feature white cooler shrouds, backplates, and fan impellers. Furthermore, all four models incorporate RGB lighting, highlighted by a stylized ZOTAC Gaming graphic atop the card. According to Videocardz, these new graphics cards are priced approximately $10 lower than the standard ZOTAC RTX 4070 twin edge series, providing attractive options for gamers and enthusiasts.
