This character prompts you for assistance while revealing that you are trapped in a quarantine zone established around the Windscale atom plant after a nuclear disaster. Set against the backdrop of the lush British countryside in 1962, Atomfall offers a fictionalized narrative that unfolds five years after real events in Northern England.
Exploration and Discovery
Atomfall is designed as a game of investigation and discovery, where players are immersed in uncovering the mysteries of Windscale, their own identity, and the tragic circumstances of their predicament. Beyond the beautiful rolling hills of Cumberland, explore quaint villages, bandit camps, caves, tunnels, and abandoned facilities left by the British Atomic Research Division.
