Square Enix has officially released their latest third-person shooter Foamstars, which is now available as a PlayStation Plus game for the month of February. The 4v4 party-style game has three game modes for players to participate in; Rubber Duck Party, Happy Bath Survival and Smash the Star.
Smash the Star mode makes everyone on the team work together to knock out what is called the “Star Player”, which is a player who has successfully downed seven players from the enemy team.
Happy Bath Survival takes a different approach by splitting the teams in half, with some inside and some outside of the battle arena. Those who are placed outside will be there as backup support to help take down the opposition within the arena with defensive foam as the ones inside duke it out to reign victorious.
Lastly is the Rubber Duck Party mode that brings more foam than players know what to do with. Teams will be pinned up against each other in order to take the rubber duck for themselves. Dancing on top of the duck will allow it to move towards the mode’s finish line in order to take the win.
There are both solo missions and multiplayer options so that everyone can feel included and have a foamtastic good time.
