The Asus ROG Ally 2 is real, and its release window has already been set.
According to Arnold Su, the Vice President responsible for Consumer and Gaming PCs at Asus India, the revised version will be available in 2024.
Asus was among the companies that tried to enter the portable console market with their own offerings. While it’s true that the Asus ROG Ally didn’t reach the popularity level of Valve’s platform, the team has now been given a new opportunity. As stated by Arnold Su, the Vice President for Consumer and Gaming PCs at Asus India, the second generation of the device is already on its way.
Although not delving into the specifics of the revision, an interview with Techlusive media reveals the existence of this new platform: ‘It’s highly likely that we will launch the second generation [of the portable console] this year. We will retain the Windows features but will focus more on video games.’ Therefore, an announcement can be expected in the coming months.
