SilverStone Introduces FHS 140X: A High-Performance 140mm Fan

SilverStone has unveiled its latest product, the FHS 140X, a high-performance 140mm fan designed primarily for radiators, heatsinks, or high-pressure ventilation in server and workstation builds. With its substantial thickness of 38mm, the FHS 140X stands out compared to the standard 25mm thickness of typical 140mm fans.

Exceptional Performance and Design

The SilverStone FHS 140X is engineered for remarkable airflow, driven by a high-power motor. It achieves a stellar 10 mm H₂O static-pressure and boasts a maximum airflow of 222.95 cfm at its peak speed of 3,400 rpm. This makes it an ideal choice for systems requiring robust ventilation. Despite its powerful performance, the fan does have a significant noise output of 50 dBA and a power draw of a little over 13W. Therefore, it’s crucial to plan your fan-control setup carefully to accommodate these requirements.

Aesthetic and Practical Features

This 140mm fan from SilverStone is encased entirely in black, from the impeller to the frame, giving it a sleek and professional look. Additionally, the FHS 140X comes with a metal grill, recommended to be placed near the inlet for optimal performance and protection.

Although SilverStone has not yet disclosed the pricing of the FHS 140X, its impressive specifications suggest it will be a valuable addition to any setup requiring high static-pressure and substantial airflow. Whether you’re enhancing a radiator, heatsink, or a high-pressure ventilation system, this fan promises to deliver outstanding results.
