In addition to the already well-known usability features and high performance guarantees, there are important innovations introduced thanks to the research and development department. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 and Flip5 are designed to fulfill the expectations of durability , from many points of view. The main screen is in fact equipped with a shockproof layer , while the design of the back is renewed. In addition to the IPX8 certification, the shells in Armor Aluminum and the Corning ® Gorilla ® Glass Victus ® of the Flex Window and the back, there is the new Flex Hinge hinge module, with a double-track structure that attenuates external impacts.
When closed, the Galaxy Z Flip5 allows direct access to the most useful widgets , such as the music controller for example, thanks to the Flex Window, which can be customized. At the same time, you can also use it to scroll through your call history to retrieve missed calls and reply to messages using the Quick Reply feature via a full QWERTY keyboard and having full visibility into your chat history. The same goes for accessing the Samsung Wallet . As for the camera, we point out the possibility of taking high-quality selfies with the rear camera, while with FlexCam , users can take extraordinary and hands-free photos from different angles, seeing the preview immediately. All with built-in stabilizer support and 10x digital zoom.
The foldable giant screen features of the Z Fold5
As you already know, Galaxy Z Fold5 features a large, immersive 7.6-inch screen and long battery life, with the most powerful performance of the entire Galaxy Z series. Galaxy Z Fold was a pioneer in transforming the daily productivity through the experience of a large and resistant screen, developing, in addition to the Multiscreen and App Continuity functions, a wide range of features, including the system tray, drag and drop, and third-party app optimization. The S Pen Fold Edition, introduced in the third generation of foldables in 2021, has also been refined to offer a superior writing experience on Galaxy Z Fold5. These tools and features combine to deliver high productivity on a large screen, allowing users to perform important tasks wherever they are.
Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Z Fold5 are available for pre-order starting July 26 , with general availability starting August 11 . The Galaxy Z Flip5 smartphone comes in Mint, Graphite, Cream and Lavender colors. Prices vary according to storage capacity: the 256GB version at the MSRP of €1249, while the 512GB version at the MSRP of €1369. On the contrary, the Galaxy Z Fold5 will be available in Italy in three configurations, with their respective prices: the 256GB version at the recommended price of €1999, the 512GB version at €2119 and finally the 1TB version at the recommended price of €2339 . The color variants for the Fold5 are Icy Blue, Phantom Black and Cream.
