Alphacool presents a new waterblock. It’s part of the Eisblock Aurora series and is intended for AMD’s benchmark RX 7800 XT.
The program includes a waterblock for AMD’s reference RX 7800 XT. Its chrome-plated copper base covers the entire PCB. Alphacool uses chrome rather than nickel for resistance reasons.
The block will cool the board’s critical components. The GPU comes to mind. But the memory chips and power supply stages will also be actively cooled. The acrylic upper part allows a good diffusion of aRGB lighting. If not, this will allow an unobstructed view of the liquid circulating inside.
The block measures 252.14 (L) x 120.53 (W) x 34.87 (H) mm. It also features four G1/4″ inlets/outlets. Finally, the cooling engine features 0.4 mm micro-fins spaced 0.4 mm apart.
