Upcoming Release Details

NVIDIA has officially confirmed that board partner GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics cards will be hitting global retail markets on February 20. This launch comes as a major event for gamers and enthusiasts alike, with NVIDIA setting a baseline MSRP of $749 (USD) for North America. In European territories, the baseline price is set at €884, though added VAT fees may apply, which could increase the final cost significantly.

Concern Over Price Hikes

Interestingly, recent accidental e-tail listings in Austria and France have revealed prices that far exceed NVIDIA’s guideline figures. A report from Videocardz highlights that most of the upcoming launch products are expected to be on the pricier side. Retailer Caseking.de has already listed 12 different models from reputable brands such as ASUS, Gigabyte, and MSI, with the most affordable non-overclocked option priced at a staggering €1149 including tax, and with shipping costs starting at €4.99.

Limited MSRP-Conforming Choices

While options that conform to NVIDIA’s MSRP guidelines seem to be limited, some retailers in Northern Europe are offering competitive pricing. For example, Proshop in Denmark and Finland have listed the Inno3D RTX 5070 Ti X3 card at a price of 6899 kr in Denmark and €924 in Finland. Additionally, the only notable MSRP-friendly offering in North America comes from Micro Center, which has the PNY RTX 5070 Ti Overclocked Triple Fan model priced at $750. As the February launch approaches, consumers will be keeping a close watch on market fluctuations, especially with AMD’s new Radeon RX 9070 GPU series expected to compete directly.
