MPG 321URX QD-OLED, MSI’s AI display

MSI and ASUS are currently battling it out, particularly in the display sector. As we saw at CES, MSI presented a serious range of displays, including the MPG 321URX QD-OLED, a model doped with AI.

With this monitor, MSI offers us a 32″ reference equipped with a QD-OLED panel. It also boasts UHD resolution (3840×2160), all at a frequency of 240 Hz. It also boasts 250 nits of brightness, 150,000:1 contrast and 99% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut.

But this reference also boasts AI-related functionalities, as we described during our visit to the brand’s CES stand.

All this to say that the screen was initially due to arrive at a price of $1199, with an introductory promo at $950.

The aim here would simply be to “piss off” ASUS, as Jupiter would say. Remember when MSI forced ASUS to increase the burn-in warranty on its OLED screens from 2 to 3 years following the announcement of its competitor?

These are cases of positive competition, where prices are driven down.
