Microsoft has just announced that it will be holding a “conference” from May 21-23 in Seattle. Part of the conference will be broadcast live. A number of announcements are expected, including the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) functionalities into Windows 11 (it is no longer known whether Windows 12 will arrive or not).

Microsoft Copilot AI
For many weeks now, the integration of AI into Windows has aroused both fears and hopes. Concerns on the part of competitors that Microsoft could be taking a decisive step in this area, and hopes on the part of the hardware industry that users will soon have to migrate to a new PC featuring a processor armed with an NPU.

New Surface PCs ( still with AI )
The new Surface range could arrive in 2 stages. First, a new Surface Pro and a new “classic” Surface equipped with the latest Intel Core Ultra processors. A version equipped with an ARM Snapdragon X Elite SoC is also expected.

These new devices will feature a new key on the keyboard: the Copilot key. This key will be used to access Microsoft’s virtual assistant, which will be integrated into the AI update for Windows 11.
