Giga Computing Launches New Gigabyte Servers with AmpereOne Processors

Giga Computing’s New Offerings

Giga Computing, a subsidiary of Gigabyte, has firmly established itself as a leader in server technology for both x86 and ARM platforms. In a significant development, the company announced the general availability of its latest wave of Gigabyte servers, optimized to support the complete stack of AmpereOne family processors. This launch follows the announcement of AmpereOne processors last year, which generated considerable interest and paved the way for future advancements.

Features of the AmpereOne Family

Designed for cloud-native computing, the AmpereOne family of processors integrates cutting-edge features, including up to 192 custom-designed Ampere cores, DDR5 memory, and 128 lanes of PCIe Gen 5 per socket. Such attributes ensure unparalleled performance and efficiency, specifically tailored for cloud environments. These processors not only deliver remarkable VM density but also improve performance per watt, making them ideal for modern cloud infrastructure.

Showcase at Yotta 2024

To showcase its innovations, Giga Computing will feature its Gigabyte servers equipped with AmpereAltra and AmpereOne processors at the upcoming Yotta 2024 event in Las Vegas, scheduled for October 7-9. The event will present a unique opportunity for industry professionals to engage with cutting-edge technologies and explore applications in AI inference, data analytics, and more. With single and dual socket servers already in production and additional models expected by late Q4, Giga Computing continues to lead the way in advanced cooling technologies and server solutions for the future.
