“Featuring members of the FFXIV Development and Operations teams, to wrap up our 10th anniversary celebrations!” it says, along with a kickoff at 8 Pm PDT on April 12th. This broadcast event will run through 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time on April 13th. we’re still waiting to see what the official schedule for the broadcast stream will be, or which other team members will appear.
Given that this is also an event to celebrate the 10th anniversary of A Realm Reborn’s release way back in 2013, but is happening a few months before we get Dawntrail, there’s plenty of options for both celebration and looking towards the future. There should be a schedule out soon, likely later this month, since the event is just about a month away.
Most of the event will be in Japanese, though the fan translations are fast, and there should be plenty of info out even as the stream continues. The Final Fantasy XIV community is one of the most dedicated, so you know what to expect from an event of this type (particularly since it’s an annual tradition).
