Erenshor Team Talks Expanded Demo Open Beta and Release Plans

This comes as the team teases release plans and a mock “stress test” in the form of a free open beta weekend with full access.

A single-player RPG that is set inside a simulated MMORPG, the game is designed to have the feel of MMOs and a slew of activities that do simulate the real thing. With over 100 hours of gameplay already included, there are quests, monsters to slay, and a world to explore. You’ll be able to upgrade your items that you acquire, experience character progression, and more ahead.

There will be NPCs that act like simulated players to party up with, so you’ll be able to complete quests, dungeons, and take on world bosses together. These party members will level up and progress independently, acquire their own gear, and even have some kind of relationship system because Burgee says that some of them will even start guilds and invite you if they like you enough.

Erenshor, which cracked the top 1500 wishlisted on Steam, will be holding that open beta mock “stress test” sometime this summer, with an appearance at October’s edition of Steam Next Fest also planned, ahead of a targeted late 2024-early 2025 Early Access release. The October appearance will have an updated demo with a “spooky GM event” on the demo island and giveaways that include a Steam key for the full game.

You can find out more over at Erenshor’s Steam page.
