Yanuo is described in the caption on the showcase video as “this good natured Executor of Hykros” and this is one of the ways in which she features a layered nature. This is only part one of her showcase, so we should see the second part soon and what she’s capable of.
Her normal attack, Pillage, launches six consecutive attacks, each creating ice cores for her, that she can use later to strategically unleash even more damage. Hunt, another normal-based attack, has her up in the air, launching another six icy attacks.
Shadow Execution is another big damage skill in her kit. She tosses her weapon with Fixate (which has her throw her weapon for an automatic hit to a target’s head), and with Shadow Execution, runs to the weapon, including in front of the target you hit, and deals 99% ATK damage to the target and more to those nearby who might be caught in it.
Yanuo will also be skilled in dodges and concealment, fitting her role, but as with a number of simulacra, combos will be the key to success. We see her use things like Unforeseen Doom, which she can use upon concealment to suddenly trigger Fixate, which she can then follow up with Shadow Execution. Several more skills get featured, but it becomes clearer how they fit together too.
