Ethyrial: Echoes of Yore has rolled out a series of updates through a server

Echoes of Yore is still kicking along, as the team at Gellyberry continues to squash bugs and update features. In light of these latest updates, the developer’s latest patch notes signify the title is still making progress. One of the significant improvements listed is the change to the enchanting system, which will now allow players to queue up to 100 enchants at a time.

In terms of gameplay enhancements, the team adjusted the drop rates for Vampiric Essence from Demon Tyrants and fixed gathering issues with Magic Mushrooms. The update also sees the removal of the Old Mines portal atop the Elemental Rift construction, and the wind effect no longer obstructs tiles, improving navigation and interaction within the game world. The team also introduced Chicken Gambling, where players will be able to bet on their chickens in a competition for unique rewards.

For Combat and spellcasting, multiple changes to a wide range of spells have been completed, and the update has also introduced several quality-of-life improvements and content additions.

Echoes of Yore are an incremental improvement after the game released and subsequently was bombarded with multiple bugs and a hack that erased over 17k accounts. Despite the issues and having a mostly negative review score on Steam, the team perseveres, and will hopefully turn things around soon.
