The sailing hour is upon us as Ubisoft’s Skull and Bones has finally released. The “Quadruple A” game has made its way to a release state, with Ubisoft pointing to numerous fixes over the open beta to look forward to.

If you’ve been itching to set sail in Skull and Bones then the wait is finally over. Now that Ubisoft’s pirate powerhouse is live, you can pick up where you left off if you were an Open Beta player, or start fresh. The game is currently listed for nearly 80 dollars to purchase outright, a move that many players pushed back against earlier this month. Ubisoft defended their pricing, however, if you are on the fence but still want to hop in without a big investment, Skull and Bones is also available through a monthly Ubisoft Plus subscription of 17 dollars.

If you haven’t had the chance to try the game, Ubisoft is also providing 8 hours of free play through a free trial.
