Tekken 8 has officially arrived and Bandai Namco has released a new trailer showing off gameplay for Devil Jin.
Devil Jin is a separate character from the standard Jin due to a difference in fighting style. Following the events of Tekken 3, Jin forsakes his Mishima style.
Devil Jin is the ‘evil Jin’ which should be fairly evident from the horns and all. Both Kazuya and Jin have the ‘Devil Gene’ that allows them to transform and Devil Jin would be the result of that transformation. Consumed by bloodlust, Devil Jin will destroy anything that stands in his way. Functionally entirely different characters in both personality and gameplay, it makes sense for Devil Jin to be a separate member of the roster.
