AVerMedia Technologies announced a firmware update for its well-received HDMI 2.1 USB Capture Card, Live Gamer ULTRA 2.1. The update gives users three new features – including 5.1 multi-channel audio pass-through and capture – fulfilling some highly wished-for upgrades of the capture card, making it even more powerful.

AVerMedia is lowering the price of its Live Gamer ULTRA 2.1 to USD $269.99. The Live Gamer ULTRA 2.1 is available on AVerMedia online store, Amazon, and authorized retailers and distributors.
